I’ve been making sushi for over 22 years, and it’s been an incredible journey. I got my start back in 2003 at White Lotus in Hollywood, working alongside traditional Japanese sushi chefs who really taught me the craft from the ground up. After five years there, I moved on to Takami in Downtown LA, where I spent seven more years honing my skills and helping open a sashimi bar in the city.
From there, I made my way to Newport Beach, where I spent the next 12 years serving high-end customers and celebrities, creating unique sushi experiences and unforgettable flavors. During that time, I also started doing private sushi events and parties—something I still love doing today.
Now, I’m the head chef at Kiitsu in Brentwood. Since taking over, I’ve completely revamped the place, bringing my own style and creativity to the menu. I specialize in fresh, clean, high-quality sushi with a personal touch, and I proudly serve both the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

I offer a wide variety of sushi options to suit every palate. From classic favorites like California rolls to more adventurous options like uni and toro, there is something for everyone. We also offer vegetarian and gluten-free options.
I use only the freshest and highest quality ingredients, sourced from all over the world using sustainable suppliers, and our produce is always organic. I believe that using the best ingredients is the key to creating the best sushi.
